2. Set the pipetting volume
Adjust the pipetting volume control knob of the pipette to set the pipetting amount. When adjusting the amount of pipetting, the scale should be rotated to exceed the set volume according to the size of volume, and then adjusted back to the set volume to ensure the best accuracy of the removal.
3. Assembly tips
When using single-channel pipette, align the nozzle cone of the adjustable pipette to the tip of the pipette, and gently press it vertically to tighten it. When using the multi-channel pipette, align the first row of the pipette to the first nozzle, tilt insertion, before and after shaking slightly and tighten it.
Ensure that the pipette, tip and liquid to be removed are at the same temperature; then rinse the tip 1-2 times with the liquid to be removed, especially viscous liquid or liquid with different density from water. When removing the liquid, immerse the tip of the suction head vertically at a depth of 2-3 mm below the liquid level (It is forbidden to insert all tip into the solution), slowly and evenly loosen the lever, and let the tip inhale the solution for 2-3 seconds. And slanting on the wall of the container to flow excess liquid from the outer wall of the tip.
5. Placement of the pipette
After using the pipette, press down on the tip rod with your thumb, After safely exit the tip and adjust its capacity to the maximum value of the identification, then hang the pipette on the dedicated pipette holder; It should be placed in a special box when not in use for a long time.
